Maru bishamon white cotton cloth Japanese sashiko kit from Japan
Description
This is a pre-printed piece of white cotton with a design of maru bishamon, a sort of interlocking web, very handy for learning sashiko stitching. Sashiko is a traditional Japanese style of quilting that is often used for decoration. This kit is produced by Olympus of Japan, makers of tradition Japanese craft supplies.The fabric measures 13" x 13" (34 cm x 34 cm) when completed and is printed with dye that will wash out. Sashiko needles, thread and thimbles are also available in my shop.
