Lighthouse

Description

Cape Willoughby lighthouse stands above the ravaged cliffs on the Eastern end of Kangaroo Island.

Lighthouses mean different things to different people. Strength, Hope, Light.

Photographed on a stormy winters day with 40 year old simple plastic toy camera called a Diana. The characteristic blur and vignette is synonymous with the simple lens and dinky build of the machine, and not a result of post production.

A Giclee photographic print with warm-tone inks on archival watercolor paper and hand lacquered with UV varnish for a distinctive and protective finish.

Image size 6x6" on 8x10" paper. Signed and dated on reverse.
