Description

This original mixed media 4" x 4" x 1.5" cradled panel features a page from a vintage music textbook, which has been lovingly altered using loose brushwork in a lovely yellow-orange hue and accented with graphite. The bird, a reproduction of a 19th century wood engraving, flies into this abstract world, and acts as the focal point for the piece. Bits of vintage ephemera and origami paper add color and pattern, and balance out the incredible detailing found in the engraving reproduction.
