Like my skeinlet sensation lots but never get here in time to grab them when I list? Well here’s your chance to snap up a custom lot for your very own! This listing is for .20, I will create a separate listing for you when your lot of skeinlets is complete based on the amount ordered. I generally ship skeinlets via First Class mail.

Upon receipt of your order, I will go to work immediately and create your very own bundle of random skeinlets. You get to tell me how many you want! Want 10? 20? You decide! I charge a buck per skeinlet, so (minus shipping) 10 skeinlets, 10 dollars and so on.

A few words about skeinlets!

Whenever I spin I keep a few yards back of each yarn. Usually to remember a particular colorway but mostly because I really like to see all the little bits of yarn in one place! I also am a HUGE collector of scrap bits of wool and roving, sometimes they are just too pretty to blend so they get tossed in my giant scrap bag to become skeinlets. Since I've already made a big handspun scrap afghan for myself, I've decided to start letting some of these little skeinlets go!

Skeinlets contain many varieties of wool (mostly merino and merino blends), and there may also the occasional bit of mohair, silk, angora, bamboo, tencel blends and lots of sparkle too! Singles, two ply and occasionally some chunky art yarns may be included. Range of yardage for each skeinlet is a minimum of 5 yards to at least 20 in some cases.

This is a good way to explore handspun yarn if you've never had the pleasure of working with it! Also excellent for freeform knitting and crocheting, colorwork, scrapbooking or whatever inspires you to create!
