Cockles
Description
Cockle shells can be found all over the world on shorelines. They come in many different sizes, colors and textures and occasionally you will find a pair still hinged together. The shape of these coin pearls wrapped with the sterling wire made me think of the plentiful little shells.The coin pearls used in these earrings are very lustrous and quite iridescent. They have a beautiful pastel color display of pink, lilac, gold, silver, turquoise, ivory and green, the sterling wire encircling the pearls frames them perfectly.
The "Cockles" earrings hang 30mm long and are 12mm across their widest point, all the metal is sterling silver.
