Aurora was the Roman goddess of the dawn, and as such she is a symbol of renewal.

Like the multi-hued light that often plays across the sky at dawn, this glorious little ametrine pendant is not content to be just one gorgeous color. Instead in its mixing of amethyst and citrine it manages to display a whole range of colors; delicate purples, flashes of gold, and a wonderful champagne where the two colors meet and meld. The briolette is micro-faceted, too, which creates amazing sparkle and clarity, and makes the piece truly deserving of wear on the most special of occasions, yet without being too formal for everyday use.

Wrapped in sterling wire, and hung from a 17 inch sterling silver fancy figure-eight chain with a lobster claw closure for security, the pendant measures over 3/4 of an inch in length, including the bail (stone itself is about 1/2 inch). Truly a beautiful thing to wake up to.
