Land Planarian plush soft sculpture

Description

This land planarian is a flatworm, whose close relatives are often used as lab animals. Some species can reach up to 10" long and .5" wide, creeping about in the soil and leaf litter. Instead of two eyes they have a series of tiny eyespots along the edge of the head.

This planarian is made of felt, fleece, and stuffed with polyfil. Created with a combination of hand and machine sewing.

This is my own original design, I have no pattern.

Planarian measures 13" (33cm) long.

My soft sculptures are not suitable for children 12 and under due to delicate parts. This would do best as a display piece.
