This is a stunning plate/platter that can be used as a display piece or to serve cookies.

It is made of stoneware clay and bears a porcelain slip design. It was thrown on the potter's wheel and fired twice in an electric kiln. The beautiful matte blue glaze has a mind of its own and that's why I like to so much: I'm never quite sure how it's going to come out! In this case, it has turned out largely tan/brown with blue highlights

The piece is 9 3/4 inches in diameter

Food safe; microwave/dishwasher safe... however, this is a one-of-a-kind piece and should be handled w/ the care it deserves. Please see my "Common Sense Cautions" in the Shop Policies.
