Sherlock Holmes Dog Costume

Perhaps your doggie is always on the hunt for clues.. scouring the carpet for hints (i.e. crumbs).. like our little Chester is. If so, this may be a sign that he is a detective at heart. Help your pup share that love of mystery with the world this Halloween by dressing him up as one of his heroes- Sherlock Holmes. (Just make sure he doesn't find and consume any chocolate on his holiday trek!)

This costume is actually upcycled, made from a herringbone sports coat I rescued from the thrift store. The hat and cape tie closed with maroon ribbon. The hat is about a 4 inch circumference, the cape closes tightest at about 6 inches, and is about 9 inches long. Chester, our chihuahua, weighs about 10 pounds and has a muscular build (large chest), so chances are this would fit well on many small breeds (terriers, doxies, maybe even pugs).
