Description

The sky is aqua blue and filled with fluffy cumulous clouds. The air is full of music. A yellow warbler sings a song. The bird is aptly named, as his plumage is bright yellow with rust colored striations on the belly. It’s a whimsical illustration perfect for bird enthusiasts.

This is a digital print. The original image is a digital collage. My colored pencil drawing was scanned into Photoshop where it was edited and combined with one of my photos and an assortment of musical notes and digital effects. Since the “original” image is digital, the only physical form in which it exists is as a print. The image size is 8 inches by 10 inches, which is printed on an 8.5 by 11 inch piece of bristol. Bristol is an archival quality acid free artist’s material, it has a smooth matte surface and is similar in thickness to a piece of posterboard. This print was printed on an Epson printer with ultrachrome ink, which is fade resistant and acid-free. This is an open edition print which is signed (Sarah Knight) in black ink in the lower right-hand corner. The image that appears in this listing does not display a signature. Each print is signed individually.
