plushstock peace guitar - stuffed drawing

August 15, 2009 is the 40th anniversary of the Woodstock festival and the Etsy Plush Street Team is commemorating the event by creating special plush items.

This is my contribution, the peace guitar. I started to draw an acoustic guitar, but then started thinking about all the peace and love and flowers of the time and it all merged together.

Hand drawn with Golden fluid acrylic paint onto new rose colored floral fabric. This plush guitar measures 11" / 27.9cm tall, 4.25" / 10.8cm wide and 1.25 / 3.18cm at the thickest.

On the back, up on the headstock, a little loop is sewn to facilitate hanging. Or you could just lean the guitar against a book or computer monitor. Or place it in your crocheted kitties arms like the last photo shows.
