Description

This is yarn recycled (unraveled) from a gently used, high quality sweater.

Fiber: 100% silk

Color: silvery gray-green

Yarn weight: lace (24 wraps per inch - the number of times this yarn wraps around one inch of a ruler). Looking for a thicker yarn? Just use multiple strands. Doubled, this yarn is fingering weight (16 wraps per inch).

Gauge: 8 stitches/inch on size US 0 needles

Texture: three-strand

Care instructions: hand wash

Length per skein: at least 303 yards (multiple skeins available, sold individually)

Weight per skein: at least 0.9 oz./26g

Each skein is individually labeled with fiber content, yarn weight, gauge, minimum yardage and weight.
