Recycled yarn - black lambswool/angora blend, lace weight

Description

This is yarn recycled (unraveled) from a gently used, high quality sweater.

Fiber: 70% lambswool, 20% angora, 10% nylon

Color: black

Yarn weight: lace (20 wraps per inch - the number of times this yarn wraps around one inch of a ruler). Looking for a thicker yarn? Just use multiple strands. Doubled, this yarn is sport weight (14 wraps per inch).

Gauge: 8 stitches/inch on size US 1 needles

Texture: two-strand

Care instructions: hand wash

Length per skein: at least 389 yards (multiple skeins available, sold individually)

Weight per skein: at least 1.5 oz./44g

Each skein is individually labeled with fiber content, yarn weight, gauge, minimum yardage and weight.
