Multicolored Cloche Crocheted Hat with a small rolled band on the rim

This cloche was really a joy to make. I don't really wear any cap but I may make this type an exception.

For those in cold weather it is really warm; it is not really cold enough here (in California ) but I think it really looks nice.
Think of a dark muted rainbow when you look at it.

Cloche hats were an offset for the short haired boyish pixie style of the flapper girls. This was to compliment their feminine side. They didn’t want their foreheads to show.

They became more elaborate as time went bye, but by 1928 the brims were reduced to nothing.

22" (54 cm ) circumference measured around lower edge. Measures 7 " (17.7 cm ) from the top straight down to where the cloche has a turned up edge of about 1 inch ( 2.5 cm).

Red Heart 100% acrylic medium worsted.... Made in USA

Wash it on warm gentle. Dry it on low.
