I was talking to a friend back East a year ago that hadn't ever seen the California coast. The more I tried to explain the crashing waves, the rocking with the tides, the feel of the sun, the further I got from giving a complete picture. In my defense, it's hard to sum up the power and beauty of the ocean here. But you can show it. And the Parrots of WildPen did. :)

Sunny the cockatoo set off to gather seaglass, ocean water, stones and sand. She brought them back to FlaxMan who *very* carefully simmered the items so they'd be ready to be bottled. Then, after eating way too much popcorn, they got to work bottling.

Each ocean vial tells its own small story in a bottle that's just shy of 2.5" high. Some contain special water smoothed rocks, shells and sand. All contain seaglass that glimmers in the ocean water it dances in. This series features small citirine gemstone bead in each bottle, as a way to bring the sun into the picture.

These are meant to be gently shaken. The contents will shift a little, just like it would in the ocean's waves.

Each bottle comes with a photo of the beach where it was born, a little extra seaglass for you and a feather from one of the artists. All the bottles in this limited edition are signed and numbered.
