Rug Hooking - White Fish

Description

I love hooking fish – such a great, creative subject. This wonderful, whimsical, original design is truly one of a kind, perfect for those with an affinity for fish, or who appreciate the labor of traditional rug hooking.

Hooked with hand cut 100% beautifully dyed wool and re-purposed wool (from old clothing) on burlap (burlap being the primitive foundation originally used by hookers).

The fish is a combination of white, gray, turquoise and blue, swimming with swirls of blue water surrounded by circles of air bubbles. The background is antique navy.

Completely hand hooked by me measuring approximately 9″H x 16″W.
This can be hung on the wall or placed on a table as a candle mat or runner.
