The elegant blue roses on both fabrics remind me of the delicate designs on my grandmother’s good china. Their profuse petals burst open from a tonal blue background, while on the other side, medium scale roses are in a classic blue and cream palette with birds and smaller flowers. The quilt stitching is a continuous line leaf design in turquoise. A burst of blues that isn’t unhappy!
