Description
Amethyst is kettle-dyed in shades of lavender and purple from the very palest lavender to deepest darkest purple. It is put up in the BIG FOOT-sized skein, so there's approximately 500 yards/4.6 ounces of superwash sock/fingering-weight yarn. The blend is 75% superwash wool and 25% nylon.We've been successful in machine washing garments made from this yearn in cold water, gentle cycle, with the garment in a lingerie bag. Even so, we recommend hand washing in cool water and a cool rinse, then drying flat.
Even though there are two skeins from this dye lot, please understand that each skein is unique.
