Ruffled Disk - Copper Enamel Earrings - Pink and Lime

Description

Each disk or copper is ruffled by hand. Then numerous layers are of powdered glass are fired to form the color of the ruffle. Layers of various shades of blended Lime green with Pink and Rose splashed in the center. I love this new style of earring...the way it hangs, balanced. Pretty cool if I do say so myself. Handcrafted silver ear wires of course. Very lightweight and wearable. I oxidized this pair...prefer shiny...let me know?

Enameling is fusing glass to metal, in this case copper. Each piece is fired multiple times including the back to 1500 degrees.
