This is a bath soak bar. I have piled magnesium sulfate (Epsom salts) lavishly on top of a 4oz bar of soap. Draw your bath, enter tub with bar, dip bar into water and swoosh for a minute, then sit back and let the minerals do their magic. The salts melt off into the water and you are left with a full size bar of soap to enjoy for a month.

This is a ‘therapeutic’ bar (part of the treatment section, I call it a treatment bar because every time you use it your skin benefits from the additives I've used.) created out of my fascination with Epsom salts. My fascination? Just Google either magnesium sulfate or Epsom salt for yourself and in the mean time here’s a little info:

Epsom salts work to relax tight muscles, and are found in many commercial bath salt products, the magnesium seeps through your pores into your skin and helps relieve pain and promotes tissue repair. the warm water also makes blood flow to the affected area (like feet) and promotes healing. Epsom salts - magnesium sulfate - are a natural way to treat skin problems, relax the nervous system, and draw toxins from the body. Bruises, sore or strained muscles and sprained ankles receive relief when soaking in Epsom salts -the magnesium seeps through your pores into your skin and helps relieve pain and promotes tissue repair. the warm water also makes blood flow to the affected area and promotes healing.

Epsom salts are made up of a naturally occurring mineral that is found in water. More properly known as magnesium sulfate, Epsom salts derives its popular name from the town of Epsom, England, where the compound was first distilled from water.

This soap is handmade using the hot process method. Scented with Mulberry.

Each batch is made from scratch using a specific weight of calculated oils to provide lots of lather and lots of mildness Raw ingredients are used the old fashioned way. These bars retain their natural glycerin and each batch contains Shea Butter and Olive Oil. This soap is not made from a base, it is not melt and pour. These bars are cured specifically according to the hot process method.

All my soaps are vegan and I only use high quality fragrance oils. Please try to keep your soap completely dry between uses to keep it hard and long-lasting.
