African Dance-Mosaic Belt Buckle

If you love color and African Art, you will love this buckle! I started off with a batik bone bead centered with a geometric piece of milliefiori in the primary colors. Next I used hand cut teal colored mirrored glass to give it just a little sparkle. That is followed by black ceramic tile. These are actual tiles, the smallest in the world! I then used a row of African "Christmas" glass trade beads in a multitude of colors and patterns. They are followed by bright yellow glass seed beads. For the border I used polka dot bone beads. These are also trade beads from Kenya.

Grouted in a black and the buckle base is an antiqued silver finish metal.


Buckle is 3 5/8" x 3".
