Crater Lake - Fused Glass Earrings

Description

Like multiple reflections of a crater filled with sparkling water, the gorgeous texture in these earrings mimics the beautiful Crater Lake in Oregon (http://www.nps.gov/crla). These earrings were created from fused dichroic art glass. After an initial kiln firing, each piece was shaped and re-fired to achieve a beautiful polish as well as strength and durability. Silver-plated bails were attached to the glass using a super strong glass compatible epoxy.

The earrings measure 3/8 inch in width and the glass pieces dangle 1 1/4 inch from the top of the sterling silver french hooks.
