Open Pomegranate III (Rimon ) sterling silver and garnet pendant.

Description

This original* whimsical pomegranate** pendant shows the fruit broken open and ready to eat with seeds sparkling and juice flowing. Yummy! The pendant was free formed and cold forged by hand according to design sketch and wire wrapped with variety of garnet beads.

Many Biblical researchers believe that garnet stone represented the tribe of Judah (King David was from the tribe of Judah) in the breast plate of the high priest of the Jerusalem Temple. On metaphysical level garnet is the stone of relationships, both personal and professional/business. It’s believed to attract people through bringing out your best qualities. Garnet is also a birthstone of January.

!!! The chain seen in the pictures is not included in the price. It’s for display only. There are chains in the 'Chains' section, also many ETSY sellers offer variety of chains. I recommend snake, cord or box chains with my pendants.

The pendant is hanging down ~2” (52mm) and is ~1 1/4” (30mm) wide. It will arrive to you packed in a gift box.

** Pomegranate , RIMON in Hebrew, is one of the Biblical 'seven species', i.e. the plants associated with the Holy Land in the Bible in Deuteronomy 8:8. I originally designed Pomegranate pendants to complement my Shofar pendants for Rosh Hashana (Jewish ‘New Year’) because they are used for one of traditional prayers for this important Jewish holidays.
