These small abstracts on paper are essences or distillations of rural landscapes, condensed textured colour works on paper. I find abstract colour inspiration in the rural environment, in the elemental signs of erosion or gradual deterioration, crumbling walls, encrusted patinas, worn facades, aged surfaces, textural striations, structures exposed to the natural elements.

These three little abstract paintings look effective as a trio float-framed in simple whitewashed wood frames. I am offering these three abstract paintings as a set unframed at a discount on my gallery framed works. One photograph shows others in series as examples.
