No, I'm not a model but my mom was and she had style.

The gold discs featured here remind me of the early seventies, when the jewelry was very flashy and funky. It had to be to hold its own next to 'fros and braids. (Mom had a modest 'fro. I still giggle when I see the photos.)

Since these discs resemble shells, I added deep blue rice pearls for a hint of color and coolness next to the warm gold tone. When these earrings move, the shells and pearls dance together creating a lovely, delicate sound.

I chose kidney wires so these pretties can be seen even if your hair is long.
