Peacock keepsake ornament or pin, hand embroidered

Description

Elegant fiber pin featuring a hand embroidered stylized peacock on sapphire blue background with copper metallic highlights that shine beautifully in the light. A satin ribbon allows it to hang on a tree or wall as a keepsake ornament.

The embroidery has been done by my Mother, based on my original design. Next, I wrapped the embroidered fabric over a disc of thick Strathmore Linen Canvas archival art paper, padding the underside with unbleached cotton fill so the look is slightly pillowy. Finally, I hand stitched the embroidered disc to a felt backing that I had first reinforced with interfacing and applied a chrome pin and satin ribbon for hanging.

Dimensions: 3.5 inch (9cm) in diameter, that includes the felt frame

Colors: cobalt/ sapphire cotton, off-white and metallic copper floss, white felt, cream ribbon

I will ship in a stiff jewelry grade box and a Ziploc bag for protection from moisture, First Class or First Class International. Combined international purchases of $50 or over need to go insured Priority mail. Photo props not included.

We made only 2 of this style. Due to limited material availability, especially the exact color of felt, we most likely won’t be able to recreate or customize this style, but please convo for more information.
