Sailcloth has evolved tremendously from the billowy white sheets of the pirate ship days. It has become a high tech performance material designed to withstand crazy amounts of stress and tension and weather. It has to make it around the world, and it has to do it FAST. For a wallet material, its pretty over the top awesome, sailcloth is far more rough and tumble then leather, vinyl, nylon, or duct tape. And it looks super cool. And it comes in all sorts of crazy colors. It won't absorb water, smells, or dirt really so it can stay in your pocket no matter what crazy adventure you go on. And when it does get dirty, just throw it in the top rack of your dishwasher and it'll dry in a flash.
