My Lady Greensleeves

Description

One of those ballads whose words and music always make me think of green hills and woods and epic love, Greensleeves has inspired beautiful paintings and a number of adaptations, including one of my favorite Christmas carols.

It also seemed a fitting title for this little branch of leaves and berries, which I have hand-wrapped using sterling silver wire, carved labradorite leaves, and beautiful glinting garnet beads. The central branch is approximately 3 and a half inches wide and is hung from a pretty sterling chain with a sterling silver S-clasp finishing it off. The whole necklace measures 19 inches in length.

The perfect necklace for frolicking in the woods or capturing the hearts of unsuspecting swains.
