vintage BULL DOG salt sack purse - Medium Carpetbag
Description
A neat old sack in great condition with appealing graphics.This will be made into a Medium size Carpetbag. You may specify red or blue lining color and allow me to choose the fabric from my stash. I have red pillow ticking and several sweet calicos.
This MEDIUM sized carpetbag measures roughly 16" at its widest, 10" deep. The bottom oval is 7 x 4.5" and the gathers along the bottom edge give it wiggle room, so the purse will hold more than it appears. Fabric covered roping handles measure 29" from knot to knot, and they're fed through metal grommets. There is a 7x5 split interior pocket. Finished off with decorative topstitching and a vintage button and loop closure.
