Surf's Up necklace

Description

This Kona Brewing Co. bottle cap reminded me of those old 1960’s surfin’ safari movies, and I just had to do something interesting with it. Inspired by the secret message on the underside (Kona’s caps teach you Hawaiian! This one says “KAI Ocean”), I created the Surf’s Up necklace—a combination of iridescent red glass squares (measuring about 3/4"), green-like-the-ocean jade, and turquoise. The bottle cap is studded with a turquoise nugget to make a fun and one-of-a-kind pendant.

Closed with a gold-toned toggle, this approximately 17 ½” necklace is definitely a conversation piece. Perfect for enjoying your favorite brewskie (I highly recommend Kona) at a beach bonfire—just remember to take it off before you hang ten!
