Nuno felted alpaca and silk scarf- turquoise, gold and red

I made this scarf by hand from silk that I dyed, then embellished with a hand-dyed luxury fiber roving from our own alpacas (baby alpaca/silk/angora). This is done with the process of felting the fibers to the silk by rubbing with soap and water. The colors are a lovely mix of cool and warm, with turquoise, green, gold and maroon. The fringe, made from handspun yarn in red and gold from the same dyepot, is set off with glasss beads that pick up on the scarf's colors. Finished size is approximately 6" x 55". I hope you'll enjoy wearing it as much as I loved making it!
