This lake is Honeoye Lake in the Fingerlakes Region of upstate NY. This sunset shot was taken in July with anglers that just happened to be fishing near the dock I was standing at, at my inlaws family cottage. A scenic lake, this place is a smaller fingerlake, but very abundant with fish. This picture postcard lake is lined with cottages and is a popular place all summer long especially on July fourth with it's fireworks at Sandy Bottom Park and camp fires that line the lake. A fun family vacation spot.
