Chic fabric ornament - French girl drawing

Description

This is an ornament I created from a drawing by one of favourite french artist, Paul Cesar Helleu. I love his women, and I found their gentle faces were great to remind us everyday to be kind. It is sometimes difficult to keep an open heart, especially when you live in the city... I was always very moved by a scene in the movie Holy Smoke, where Harvey Keitel writes backwards on Kate Winslet's brow to "Be Kind", so that when she sees herself in the mirror she's reminded of it....

This ornament is great in the car (that's where I make the most use of it lol! ;) ), or it can also be used as a pin cushion, or on a christmas tree.

It is made from fine linen of an old pale pink colour, treated with Bubble jet and printed. The ribbon is fixed with beautiful mother of pearls buttons and glass beads.

Ornament is about 5' tall, without the ribbon.

Buttons and beads may vary from one to the other.
