Twist Cameo Rose Leaf Necklace...

When I first saw these luscious green garnets they captured my imagination with their wonderfully punchy chartreuse/lime shade…I couldn’t wait to make them into a necklace!

For the central motif, I fashioned a twist sterling silver oval cameo shape and adorned it with a hand pierced sterling silver rose leaf motif…I then oxidised these to a glossy gunmetal sheen and did the same with a second rose-leaf which hovers at the nape of the neck for added detail.

Long and lovely, this necklace is a truly unusual and stunning statement piece – it works beautifully with summer dresses and camisoles but will look equally amazing layered with fall and winter knits!

I have strung the entire necklace on lime green cord, knotting between each bead for security and fluidity of movement…the necklace goes straight over your head and does not have a clasp, so it is as easy to wear as it is to look at ;)

The cameo measures across by approx 4cm...and the necklace hangs around mid-bust length...
