I call this colorway "Summer at the Lake"

I love the colors in this piece! I tried out a new paper for this painting. It's 140# cold-press and has a good white tone--not too bright but not dull either. I really like the way it "holds" the pigments in multiple layers of washes without losing vibrancy. I think this piece would look great in a simple black frame!

This piece depicts a grouping of blue flowers against a speckled background of aqua, blue. The colors have been built up using many layers of transparency so that the colors are complex. It has a watery appearance that I love!

Overall this piece measures 8x10"--a very sweet size. Also a standard frame size for a store-bought frame!
