The silverware for our chimes is purchased at flea markets, thrift stores, & auctions. To keep our prices reasonable, we purchase the silverware that is so heavily tarnished that is almost unrecognizable as silverplate. We work hard to polish the silverware to the high quality shine that you see in the items' pictures. The only part of the chimes that is not recycled is the fishing line, and that is because we want your chime to hang beautifully in your space for many years to come!
The spoons on our windchimes have been shaped to help the chime resonate, and each sounds differently.
You can hear a sampling of the chimes for yourself at: dinnertimechimes.net
You are purchasing the exact chime pictured. It was created from a silverplate Santa candy dish with spoons hanging from the bottom edge. Festive red and green beads add the finishing touch.
Hang our chimes in your garden or in your kitchen and listen to the music the subtle air currents make.
