Ponderosa Pine Earring

Description

The Ponderosa Pine is a sturdy, strong tree of the West. It has thick bark that resembles puzzle pieces. The thick bark protects the tree from natural forces, including forest fire. This earring is inspired by the strong tree of the West.

It features fine silver charms (99.9% silver) textured from Ponderosa Pine Bark. Each charm measures just under 1/2 inch square. They have been treated with a light patina to accent the texture and polished to a crisp shine.

The charms are accented with copper brown freshwater pearls.

The ensemble is attached to sterling silver ear wires. Total earring length is just under 1 inch (7/8th inch).

The texture on these earrings is gorgeous and each charm varies. The photos are of 3 different pairs to give you a sense of the range of textures.
