English pottery made by Watcombe pottery in Devon, England This is a vintage motto ware (or mottoware) milk or cream jug made between 1900-1930s in the popular cottage design.Marking on bottom reads Devon Motto Ware England.
The creamer or milk jug measures 3 1/2 inches high and has the motto “There's no fun like work.” Good condition with one chip on the inside of the spout and one along the rim (see photo).
