Vintage Salvatore Ferragamo Italy - Mint 7.5-9.5 Women's Oxford with Heel

Description

These gorgeous vintage Salvatore Ferragamo shoes caught my eye instantly! Circa 1960's or 1970's, they are a supple Italian leather in a harvest orange color. I see no flaws in the leather - they are absolutely in wonderful condition.

The interior is lined with a soft sole cover that is no longer attached, but it doesn't take away from the shoe at all. It could be glued in or removed. The sole cover reads:

The inside of the shoe also reads: "BU 0701 9.5 N"

Since vintage shoe sizes are quite different from modern day shoes, please check my measurements carefully against a comfortable shoe of your own.

The shoe measures 10.5" from tip of toe to heel, and 3.25" across the widest point at the ball of the foot. I typically wear between a US 7.5-8 W size shoe, and these shoes fit me comfortably although they do give me some room in the toe. If I wear them with socks, they are comfortable on me, so I would estimate they would also fit a size 8-8.5, and if you have narrow feet, they may also fit you as a true 9.5.

The heel is just over 1.5" tall. If I wear them with pants, they almost have a cowboy boot look and feel, with the slightly long toe pointing out from the cuff of my pants.
