What a treat...swingy gray wool coat from the late 1950's to the early 1960's trimmed in luscious silver mink. The coat is labeled Ilene Originals with a store label from Gassman's Chicago. This beauty was made for the cold as it has several features specifically made to keep you warm, perfect for windy, midwestern winters.

The coat is done in wool that is textured with narrow ribbing in a medium toned gray. It has a very wide scalloped edge silver mink fur cuff on top of its bracelet length sleeve. Inside the sleeve is another fitted sleeve with a button cuff that closes tightly around the arm to keep the wind out.
The collar has the same gorgeous silver blue shade of mink that is also quite wide and very soft and fluffy. The collar has two furrier hook to close the fur to form a ring shape around your neck, you can easily draw up the fur to keep your neck covered.

It has the cutest smiley shaped pockets on each side, picture shown of this feature has been lightened to allow you to see the details.

The coat has large gray plastic buttons down the front and at the interior sleeve cuffs. It is lined in silky gray satin fabric which is backed in a woven textured wool fabric for an extra layer of warmth. It is in pristine condition both inside and out.

There is no labeled size so please use the measurements below to determine fit.
I recommend that you measure an actual garment that fits you well and compare the measurements for the best fit.
Remember that the measurements measure the garment, not the person wearing it, leave 1-2" of ease for the proper fit.

Condition:
The coat is in excellent condition. It is very clean, I found no stains, holes or any other concerns to note.

The coat is quite heavy (7lbs.) which is reflected in the shipping costs.
