chiLD UrChin on wood

Description

This piece is titled: Urchin (from my own original drawing).

Wise beyond her years...she's seen and experienced things no child should.

It's a 5.5" x 5.5" inch hangable piece of art. Perfect for that small/odd space in your home that needs a focal point. The image was transferred onto a piece of sanded pine with a small bit of ink work applied and then hand-waxed with parafin. Each piece has its own personality that's totally due to the color and grain of the wood. The title is on the side of the piece. The color of the pine combined with the transfer technique makes the overall image appear a nice warm sepia tone.

On the reverse you'll see my logo, signature, material info and title.

To hang it I've added screw eyes and coated wire...it also has rubber bumpers to protect your wall. But you could also just use it free-standing since it has a 3/4 inch edge.
