Kimono Squeeze Opening Pouch -Green

It takes a long time to make a kimono fabric. Therefore, it is very expensive. We pass our kimono from generation to generation. Kimono has processes of dyeing and sometimes painting. Once you touch the real kimono fabric, you will love it.

I used authentic Japanese vintage kimono/obi(kimono belt) fabrics for outside. It is 100% Japanese silk. I brought this fabric from Japan with me. I also used fusible interfacing for to reinforce the fabric. For lining and the opening parts, I used solid light green tea color cotton fabric

In Japan, this type of pouch is popular. I was able to get some squeeze opening spring closures from Japan. We use this type of pouch for organizing our purses or for cosmetic items. You can also use it as a coin purse.

The opening closes tightly. To open the pouch, you just squeeze the sides of the pouch. As the opening is made from springs, it opens easily. If you stop squeezing, it closes tightly. It is very convenient!!
