Ceramic wall plaque - Scraffito tile - Stones
Description
This tile is made from white stoneware clay which is left to leather hard and then painted with a coloured slip, in this case grey. I then scored my stones design to reveal the white clay underneath. This technique is called scaffito and is just so fun to do!The tile measures 4 and 3/4" by 6 and 1/2" and is 3/8" thick. The hole at the top measures approximately 1/8" across for hanging.
