PATCHWORK QUILT - Sweet
Description
I like to call this my "Check" Quilt.I used lots of colorful cotton prints for this pretty patchwork quilt. The front side features 72 squares quilted all over in a freehand loop pattern. Featuring colorful polka dots, birds, roses, paisley and more, there are lots of colors in this quilt ... blue, pink, green, yellow, aqua, pink and white. The back side and edges are in a coordinating pale yellow with a floral pattern.
I used eco-friendly bamboo batting for the inside of the quilt. It's made from a blend of 50% bamboo fiber and 50% organic cotton. Bamboo is a renewable resource, and because it's naturally intibacterial, it doesn't require chemical treatment that may cause allergies etc. It's a wonderful soft batting that offers great breathability in warmer months and warmth when you need it.
This quilt would make an excellent gift for babies, toddlers and little girls too. It measures 33.5" wide x 37.5" long.
This quilt has been machine washed once to give it the wrinkled look you see. Machine wash delicate, dry on medium-low heat or air dry flat.
