Pine Cone Christmas Tree

When I lived in Colorado, I had some friends that lived in Woodland Park. I went to their house one Saturday to pick up the pine cones out of their yard. I spent all day up there collecting these things and then the neighbor wanted me to come over and do his yard! I had a whole truck load full of pine cones and couldn't even think to fit more in there! So one day, after looking at these cones, I decided to make little trees out of them.

I build the trees and then I decorate them with little ornaments, strings of lights, tree toppers, etc. My cordless drill and hot glue gun are my best friends when I make these.

These are not for outside decoration. These are for people that don't want to have the hassle of putting up a tree every year or are in a limited space (hospitals, dorm rooms). They can also be used as a center piece in a party setting.

Each tree comes in clear plastic so you can save it from getting too dusty or dirty. The tree does not have a scent to it. These are all natural cones picked off the ground. This tree has a strand of multi-colored lights glued onto the "branches".

This tree is right around 30 inches tall.
