I Dream of an Indian Summer
Description
When it is still hot in the valley the nights begin to cool in the high country. Each day the willows turn more golden, the pink glow on the distant mountain peaks at sunset hint that fall is just around the bend. These warm days we call our Indian Summer.A wonderful cabochon of Wonderstone Rhyolite sets the tone for this piece. Surrounded by tiny glass seed beads, the necklace depicts the changing colors of the season to come. The pendant measures 3 3/4 inches wide by 6 inches in length including the fringe comprised of seed beads, shell heshi and brass dangles. This one-of-a-kind piece is backed in rust colored ultra suede and is signed by the artist. The 16 inch long bead woven spiral rope is secured with a gold plated hook and eye clasp.
