I have a neice approximately 2 1/2 years old but going on 40. Her favorite saying? .... I'll do it!!!

So I came up with the idea to satify her sense of independence. Why not let her carry all the things she's determined to, but free up her hands for exploring. Whether it's the trip to daycare, a visit to the farmers market, or a day at the beach, she's ready to tackle anything and everything.

Made from a well loved pair of dark blue overalls, this handsewn backpack has all of it's functional pockets. It's perfect for storing newfound treasures. The fabric pouch is a classic check in navy blue. The width at the bottom of the backpack measures 14 inches across and is 17 inches high. The adjustable straps expand from 20 - 30 inches.

After many requests for adult backpacks, these new adjustable straps are perfect for those big kids who are young at heart. For the best fit, measure along the lower back for the width dimensions. Measure from the lower back up the center spine to get an estimate for the desired height.
