I Love....Necklace

I love pearls. If you look through my shop, you find them in lots of the pieces I make. I especially love to use them when I'm wire wrapping.

In this one of a kind necklace, I formed a heart out of sterling silver wire that was then hammered for texture. I attached the white freshwater pearls to the form using sterling silver wire. The heart measures 1.25 inches in length. The heart is attached to sterling wire that has button shaped freshwater pearls. They are then wire wrapped to delicate sterling silver chain. More pearl stations go up the side of the necklace. Freshwater pearls are also at the back of the necklace where the extender chain and lobster clasp are. The necklace is 16 inches in length and has a two inch sterling silver extender chain to allow you to vary the length to suit your mood. A dangle dances from the chain.

This is a wonderful necklace to give to someone special. There is an elegance to it. It would be great to wear anytime since I think pearls should be worn and not stored away waiting on a special occasion. What fun is in that?

All metal used is sterling silver.
