Scaly Siren Handspun Art Yarn (150 yards, 4.3 oz, worsted)

Description

Scaly Siren is another name for mermaids. This yarn looks like the perfect mermaid's hair; waves of undulating oceany colors and sparkles.

I spun this yarn from "Deep Sea Strumpet" batts hand-dyed and carded by Katrina at spinningselkie.etsy.com. I almost don't want to sell this one!

It contains wools, mohair, sparkles, sari silk and more -see materials list below. It's plied with thread for a wavy look.

There is enough for a lovely artsy hat, scarf, or mitts. It would look beautiful as an accent in a larger piece too.

I would use around size 7-9 needles for knitting this yarn.
