Vintage 1970s calico ruffle dress

Description

This is an adorable vintage dress whose sleeves I have altered. (Trust me, they used to be big yellow puff balls.)

The tag reads:
Jody T of California
50% cotton, 50% polyester
machine wash warm
Size 7 - G

Alas, it is too small for me to wear. I think it would best suit a size 4-6. Measured flat, the bust is 16 inches across, plus gathering, and the waist is 13 inches across.

There is a small hole in the outside layer of fabric. I have installed a brand new zipper.
